Head of Faculty of Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt
I am Ingo Feinerer, Head of Faculty of Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt (FHWN). I finished my dissertation and habilitation at the Vienna University of Technology in the fields of data mining and artificial intelligence. From 2014 to 2016 I was responsible for the computer science program at FHWN which also included the introduction of the popular "data science" specialization in the computer science master program. Since 2016 I am Head of Faculty and give courses on databases, data mining, machine learning, and programming.
Within PAIR a variety of interesting data is generated and collected by our ambitious PhD students. My part is to support and accelerate students in all topics related to data processing, data storage and data analysis, focusing on technical and computer science aspects.
